From Monday 3 November, public transport fares will drop by 5% across Queensland.

In a two-week survey conducted last month, Translink asked Queenslanders whether they wanted to put the the carbon tax windfall into the fare cuts or invest in an extra 1,000 services.

About 22,000 people voted, with 74 per cent choosing cheaper fares.

WA Liberals said the airport rail link was fully costed

Dear Perth, remember the rail link which the Liberals said was fully costed? “Mr Barnett said until detailed tenders were received, it was difficult to estimate the precise cost of the project…”. It couldn’t have been fully costed because at the time of election all tenders hadn’t been received.
