Adelaide Zoo decides to buy local icecream, palm oil free

On August 7th Adelaide Zoo was reported selling an ice cream which includes palm oil and is not made locally (1), one week later they’ve decided to switch to a local brand with no palm oil (2).
Another article mentions “Zoos SA chief executive Elaine Bensted admitted the zoo had underestimated the strong level of support for a local business.” (3) and Nick Xenophon may have had some input (4). Was people power responsible for the change?
